Four days and counting

It is one thing to be going somewhere and feel that life is so open to me that if it opened any further everything would burst because there isn’t enough time and space for it all.  It is another thing to be leaving a place that I care about so much that all the injustices and disregard of good people I take personally and it hurts.

Trying to find room for these two vastly different and hugely consuming feelings in one heart is challenging.

So, I am counting down to Beijing and trying to enjoy the people that I adore here in the last few days that I have with them.Image

Thank YOU for the great gaggle of people you drew together on Saturday! Keep moving forward – this place will always be here (or maybe not…)! Nat

  2. Dear and much loved Kathryn,

How lovely to visit Beguiled by Beijing and feel welcomed by your delicate touch (in word and image). I’m just back from nearly a whole month in Tasmania – Hobart, Launceston, Tarraleah (Central plateau) and back again to Launceston. Mostly the trip was presenting at conferences (3!). But I also caught up with friends. When leaving them I felt I left parts of myself with them and that parts of them remain with me always. xxx Lisa

Well whaddaya think of that?
